Be the Salt and the Light

Youth Experience began with a room full of energy and smiles this past week. It was great to see our kids all together again. Next Sunday we will do a project for our home bound friends.

I know it can be difficult to get a family up and moving on a cold Sunday morning. Know that whenever you can make it, we are here to be with your children on their faith journey.

The Youth Room is open and available as a meeting room any time other than 9:30- 10:15, Sunday mornings. The room seats eight around the table with extra chairs available. Make use of this convenient space!

This Sunday, the second Sunday of the month, we will offer a Time for Healing within the worship service. You are welcome to come forward at that time to be anointed with oil of the Holy Land for yourself or for a loved one. No explanations are needed. Know that you are welcome to receive this blessing and anointing.

When you visit other churches in Rockford of any denomination or churches you visit on your travels, bring me a bulletin. I love to "borrow" good ideas from sister congregations. After all, we are all one in Christ!
