Seniors on the Creek Tuesday Drop-In Center
plus Weekly Exercise Classes
Seniors on the Creek (SOTC) Drop-in Center meets every every Tuesday afternoon from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at Spring Creek United Church of Christ. All are welcome, with no minimum age requirement. We don't check IDs, so just drop in anytime and check us out!

UPCOMING ACTIVITIES:
March 5th: librarian to speak on "Haunted Rockford".
​
March 12th: Simple appliance cooking demonstration: AirFryer, InstaPot, and Convection oven. SAMPLE foods, this is not a meal.
​
March 19th: 1ST ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION LUNCH! @Jerry's Cafe 12:30!
​
March 26th: Pictionary and/or other group games.
​
April 2nd: Special performance by traditional Indian musicians Apurba and Indrani
​
April 9th: FIELD TRIP to tour the Discovery Center. NOTE START TIME of 12:45 P.M. (Carpool from the church)
​
April 16th: NO SOTC this week, but a great opportunity to volunteer setting up for our famous 3-day annual church SCCRUMMAGE SALE!
​
April 23rd: Keep Northern Illinois Beautiful representative will teach us about recycling in Rockford and do an "upcycle" craft.
LOOKING AHEAD: possible Rockford Rivets baseball game, Tuesday matinee movies, Burpee Museum, Rockford Art Museum, Mulford Village Museum Center, and other ideas.

Senior Exercise Classes meet from 9:30-10:30 AM on Mon. Wed. and Fri. This class is intended for seniors, who want to improve their strength, balance and flexibility. Classes will continue except for the week of April 15th to 19th (due to the SCCRUMMAGE SALE).
